So if Eddie is the only reason for Van Halen's success......why did Roth-era albums sell 40 million copies in U.S. and Van Hagar-era albums only sell 18 million - even though Van Hagar had the huge benefit of MTV and Top 40 radio to help sell their records?? Just proves how important Diamond Dave was to Van Halen -- he was the image of fun and party in that band, NOT Eddie. Keep in mind that VH's only 10-million+ albums have been with Dave....NOT Spammy. It's pretty clear that Dave wins, douche!
