Thats so cool LyssaxLovess! She is basically a very shy person, many artistic sensitive people are. She thought she was ugly growing up, I saw her family pictures on her website - she was and is beautiful!

Now there's a song you can really just kick back and mellow out on with a smooth bourbon and coke in hand. Great!

This is one of those Avant-Garde songs with an Avant-Garde video. It's one of the few that really worked in mainstream music back in it's day and the sad part is that so many failed miserably trying to copy that. What I really loved about both the song and the video is that both have an air of loneliness to them. Natalie Just Friggin' Roxx. Lord Genocyde Hath Spoken.

According to the album credits, Eric only played guitar on Jealousy. The guitarist for the album was Jennifer Turner. Eric is another fabulous guitarist though.

She has always been a great lyric writer. I feel bad for young girls who don't have people like her and Lucsios Jackson for example to set positive artistic 'role models' nowadyas. Hopefully they'll come across them at some point.

This is my favorite Natalie song. Excellent band put together for this. A very thoughtful lyricist.

I'm not a rabid fan of Ms Merchant. Yet after several years this song resonates in my heart. Her voice and its appeal to so many of us is well documented. But that alone would not be enough for me. This ditty, more than anything else accentuates the postmodern shock and awe bottled in a pretty little song. Yes a sense of longing, necessary but regrettable longing. As the world turns hyper-radically, it is even more possible to be seduced by our own succubi?
