To be fair on both sides, I'm certain many blacks in America voted for Obama because of skin color. But let's flip the switch on McCain. Isn't it funny how alot of the Southern States voted for McCain? Now this is an honorable concession, and I believe McCain is a good man, just....not leader material. He's a very good speaker and an honest man, however. The American people turned this momentous occasion into nothing more than a fight between skin colors, and should be ashamed.

The Republican Party needs to rebuild its image if it needs to win and make a comeback in 2010 and take the White House in 2012. I was not surprised that the Republicans lost. The Republicans lost their principles, their leadership broke down, and Bush's record-low approval ratings and unpopularity led to the Republicans losing. I am a PROUD REPUBLICAN and we can and WE WILL MAKE A COMEBACK in 2010 and 2012!

Well, given this nation's racist history, and the fact that Obama has had CIA protection since Feb 2008, the notion of a botched election would not be far-fetched. See, you're looking at this through the perception that America is a colorblind nation, when in fact racism is still a powerful tool used to keep minorities back. We may no longer live in the days of Jim Crow laws, but racism is far from dead. Sadly, Obama's victory only paves the way for more of it.

Although I did not vote for the man, I actually felt sorry for him. I truely believe (as does my husband) that he definitely would have won the ticket if he had never put Palin onboard. She destroyed that campaign royally!!
