| It wasn't a stalemate, we could have won if we'd been more blood thirsty and less concerned about humanitarian issues. At the point where the war ended, America's economy was on the verge of collapse because of our naval blockade, where as we were able to resume trade with Europe after victory over France. This victory back here meant we also had a large, veteran army at our disposal that had beaten the conquerors of Europe. Stalemate implies parity, which did not exist. |

| FnMan33... Of course the SAS go to war. They were the first soldiers deployed during the gulf war and were initially used to hunt down and destroy scud missiles before we landed the bulk of our troops. They are out doing us proud in Afganistan and Iraq now. |

| its actually embarrasing that you talk so much about sas althought its obvious you know fuck al about them. SAS are split into troops, mountain, boat, mobility and air troop. From these troops a certain amount go to CRW (Counter-Terrorism), but the bulk of the sas do actively go to war, usually before the rest of the non special forces even get there. please do some homework before you start going on in detail about stuff which is wrong |

| sim0b, idiot. you know nothing of the spec op community. sas and delta are like brothers. beckwith got the idea of a counter terror unit from sas but that does not mean we did come up with our own stuff. example, delta solved the problem of taking back aircraft from hijackers. the ideas were much better than any other country came up with. and by the way theres a lot of stuff sf does that they did not originally do. people get the wrong idea about sf because of other units like sas and delta. |
