| I'm fairly sure that's an old wives' tale. I bet if you did a Google search you'd come up with an explanation. A couple of times, I've chewed and re-chewed the same piece of gum until it lost its gum base. It dissolves into lots of little pieces in your mouth..YUCKO When I was a kid, I put several pennies in my mouth and swallowed them by accident. Never had a problem. My son swallowed one of his baby teeth. It came out the back door in about a day. |

| I try for the side of the road and wouldn't spit it onto a sidewalk. I always make sure a car is not too close behind me. Wouldn't want to get the other guy's windshield. Oh Oh Oh, I just remembered the most recent thing I did with my gum. My husband and I were coming out of a Dollar Tree store. I didn't want anyone to step in the gum, so I placed it in some tallish grass right at the base of a tree in the parking lot. A dog might pee on it. |
