A trick which helped me much: When you are exercising two-in-one-hand, don't steady your other hand. Take rather two balls in one hand and rotate your hand synchronously while exercising two-in-one-hand with the other hand.

Don't look directly at each ball, but try to keep your eyes focused on the top of the pattern.

for the person below me, what helped me out is not worrying about the balls themselves, but getting the circular motion of my hands down, eventually, you will catch it, and then you can get pretty good at 2 in 1 hand

i highly doubt it. its just different for different people i guess. i too find it easier in sync then async. guess we just needa practice a lot and we'll be able to do both.

I think that sync and async with 4balls are about the exact same difficulty level... when first learning patterns with an even number of props, sync seems to be easier for many people. I agree with Xgen001, it is best to practice a lot and learn both.
