i do know what it stood for i was a teenager at the time,for me and those around me it was just a more aggressive and exciting rock and roll.Most people who enjoyed punk rock thought Sid vicious was a twat who took drugs and died.
Lets not forget NMTB is a good rock n roll album,Steve Jones wishes Matlock had stayed because they would have produced more albums.
By the way Glen Matlock still plays acoustic sets.
