I don't know who's the master you're referring to, so I'm assuming its the Americans. Like I said, yes the U.S did helped us with weapons and some manpower. But utimately, the South did most of the fighting, which makes it a civil war. "Vietnamization" that Nixon wanted was a plan to train Sout
h Vietnamese to be able to fight on its own without U.S assistance.

Yes, he was the commander of the Vietnamese unit that fought this battle, he was very popular with his man. The guy he killed was a VC fighter that killed a whole family related to him. Since the VC wasn't in any uniform and killed civilians he was shot.

incredible footage of an amazing conflict. At 4.24 is that the Saigon Police Chief Nguyen Ngoc Loan who went on to shoot the VC suspect in the head - a photo which went around the world within hours - and still resonates even today .. it sure looks like him. Excellent post.
